This is by far the greatest classical CD in my collection; The excitement and unsettling nature of some of these pieces is overwhelming, but in the best way possible. After dozens of listens, Black Angels gives me shivers, Spem in Alium makes me weep with joy, Doom. A Sigh scares the pants off of me, and Shostakovich's string quartets puts me in a classical trance every time I listen to this album. Kronos Quartet does a phenomenal job of performing (Actually slightly better than Cikada's already exemplary performance of Black Angels in my opinion), and the sheer amount of feeling put into this is highly apparent. This group is very talented, and though every single thing they put out should already be on every person's CD shelf, this should be at the top of your list.
