ITunes should pull these recording offline and fix it with the correct ones. Those of us who not only have performed the work and are familiar with it know that these recordings are not the christmas oratorio. What a shame

The first disc has harpsichord music except for the solo movements. something is very wrong here. I want my money back.

This is NOT a review of Rilling's performance of the Weihnachtsoratorium, but rather of the digital download here on iTunes. The first disc of the download … tracks 1-23 … majorly messed up. It IS NOT the Bach Christmas Oratorio … nothing matches up to other recordings I have of the work. Compare respective tracks of this offering with other recordings, and you'll see for yourself. The tracks in discs 2 and 3 are fine, just not disc 1. Just compare the opening of disc 1 here with any other recording on iTunes of the same work, and you'll see. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ALBUM UNTIL APPLE HAS FIXED THE PROBLEM.
