It is always a pleasure to discover a new musician, even if he is hiding in plain sight as Orrin Evans has been. "Faith in Action" is a near perfect blend of challenge and reward as Evans moves from angular improvisation to rounded lyricism with logical grace. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
