  • Steve Lee is not a gun banner

I don't know what interview the person that said Steve Lee is a gun banner is talking about, but I just listened to Tom Gresham's interview with Steve Lee on December 30, 2012, and no where in the interview did he say that he was for banning semi-auto guns. In fact, he was saying the opposite. He started off the interview saying that he had recently been shooting semi-auto firearms. He's not a gun banner.

It's exactly what it sounds like - an album about guns. Not the most eloquent subject, but pulled off with a lot of style!
  • Too bad Steve Lee is a Gun Banner

These songs are great, but I won't buy them because this guy supports banning the very guns he is singing about. In a conversation on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk, he said he supports the Australian ban on all semi-autos and pump-actions. Too bad, the album is great.

I bought this album on a whim, after seeing his music video for "I Like Guns" (which is pretty decent and fun, I'll admit). The remainder of the album, from the 6 tunes I could just barely stomach listening to, is complete and utter tripe. Is this a spoof album, and I just don't 'get it'? No need for a mercy-shooting or execution-line, this album is dead on arrival. Sorry Steve, you seem like a decent enough guy, but... d*mn!

Steve Lee does a great job of integrating guns into the stories he tells on this album. The songs are all easy to remember and to sing along with, plus the musical arrangements are wonderful. I highly recommend this to any American who believes in their civil rights on guns. And I recommend it to any others who want to hear good music talking about people and their guns.
