This album is a wonderful addition to the Ross King library. I find myself humming these tunes at work and singing 'Juicebox' to my 2 year old every time he has a juicebox in his hands.
An album kids (and moms) can love!

I have had this CD for about a month and we still love listening to it. With kids music, that is not too common. So many kid's CD's are cheesy or annoying but not this one. When the kids are getting grumpy in that witching hour between naps and dinner, I put this CD on and we all dance to "Happy to Be Me". I love that they all have good clean messages that are fun and catchy too. Thanks Ross for creating a great CD for my kids and I to enjoy together.
Finally!!! A kids cd that the parents will enjoy too!

When I saw song titles like "The Sound of Whining" "Lionbaconmonkeydonkey" and "Happy to Be Me" I couldn't wait to hear them! The songs are funny, catchy and I find myself singing along. Plus, I don't dread it when the kids ask to listen to "Juicebox" for the 15th time :-) Songs like "Happy to Be Me" are even great for my 10 year old who is at the age of "following the crowd" and I'll catch him singing along "I'm happy, happy to be me". A must have cd that both the kids and parents will enjoy.
fun kids music parents will actually enjoy

This CD is full of fun music that actually teaches positive attitudes and behavior. I started listening to this CD with my baby who loves music and this is exactly the kind of stuff I want her listening to and learning. We have enjoyed all of Ross's other CDs so much and this is no exception. It's creative and funny and I like listening to it as much as the kids. It's not everyday you can sing along with a song about a monkey and donkey doin karate...find myself singin that one at work sometimes. :)

Having an 8-year old daughter I know what it's like to want to pull your hair out after a good while of listening to a cheesy kids CD when you "let them listen to it" in the car or on the family stereo. However, that was before this CD. This music is a scenic tour of musical styles with nods to Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson. Acoustic funk, reggae, and good ol' rock 'n roll...they're all here. This will be your guilty pleasure CD that stays in the player after you've dropped the kids off at school.

The title to this review explains itself, but I must also tell you that "Juicebox" is the Jam! What flavor jam, you ask? I don't know. It doesn't specify in the song. This is perhaps my only critique of an otherwise flawless album. If you have kids, buy this. If you happen to be a kid, ask your parents before clicking "buy," as it will charge their credit card automatically. Great album.
very creative and helpful for parenting

This album has some very catchy melodies and lyrics that are attractive to kids and adults. Songs like Juicebox and If I Wasn't so Cute are more pop and I've caught my kids singing these songs to themselves the last few days. As a mother, I love the Food Trying Song and I Like to Play Outside, simply because these songs are easy tools to help motivate my kids toward healthy living. And as a music lover, Affrikiddo Romp and Naomi's Lullabye are happy, beautiful instrumental pieces. Its varied musically, has intelligent lyrics, and has been listened to daily since entering our home. This album is highly recommended.
