It's embarrassing, but now that I spend all my time in the city and in the subway, I have quite the collection of nature sound recordings. This is hands-down my favorite track for sleep. It sounds like an actual recording (I grew up in the country and this sounds like home). None of the sounds get "too close" and startle me. I just created a playlist with this track repeated 9 times, and every time I use it I sleep like a happy baby until morning.

This is one of the best purchases I've made on iTunes. I play this album each night on my bedroom speaker system, surrounding myself in a serene setting most conducive to falling asleep quickly and staying peacefully asleep longer. I find that I'm able to enter a non-REM stage of sleep sooner than without listening to any ambient sounds. Undoubtedly the digital version of a pharmaceutical sedative! Caution: it does seem to be habit-forming.

I didn't think I'd like this --- but I find it very relaxing to listen to late at night when I'm trying to unwind. Darwin Chamber provides some unique and high-quality sound experiences.
