Iām not crazy about bands changing their sounds so much between albums. But this, my friends, is a masterpiece. This is the epitome of musical talent. There are some songs that you can jam out to and others that you can just chill to. Recommended buy!

Switchfoot is one of the best bands/sounds of the century! This is the greatest album along with "Oh! Gravity" and "Vice verse" These three albums you can listen non-stop, whatever is mood, whatever is weather.

Now I like to listen to an album for a while before I give a review on it... After having this album for well over a year, the songs still are amazing with song writing that surpasses most of modern culture. Switchfoot gave the world an album that has a purpose. My personal favorites (even though every song has something I like in it) are "Needle And Haystack Life", "Mess of Me", "Your Love is a Song", "The Sound" (although I prefer the way they do this song live; it has 10x the energy), and "Hello Hurricane". Every other song is just good with the album as a whole. š

I love this album, it is my favorite Switchfoot album all in all, second is Vice Verses. What I love about this album is that some songs are beautiful musically, some are beautiful poetically, or both! I can really relate to the meaning of a lot of these songs. Needle and Haystack life- the girl is the needle and the world is a haystack- what a great metaphor. And hello hurricane- "You can't silence my love." I love that! It is such an emotional album, and I love it.
