Jern definitely did it with this one! "Get Down" gives you that "just walked out of a Kung Fu movie ready to fight!!" feel! Drums insane, just straight up hip hop and definitely needed at this point. Collaborations are on point too! Nightclubber Lang does his thang. The best touch is the signature title cut, VISION. The whole beat, melody, pianos, chords, everything; just perfectly done!
Not one that you will just click through, albeit every album has its misses, I counted 2, but thats a 90% winner. Try that on a JAY-Z album!! Jern did the mostest on this one...Glad I copped it! Something Wrong just creeps up on you....slaps you right in the Grill Grill! So and So with Guilty Simpson gives you that.."saturday morning in the 80's when cartoons came on and you look out the window and see a chump trying to lift your bike...you just wanna grab him and tie that bike around his neck!!" feel!!!
