I've listened to Joy's earlier works and enjoyed them. She's gone from Christian contemporary pop to singer/songwriter indie. And it is her recent work which impresses me most. Some of the criticisms about Joy's new style--and other CCM artists in general--is that they lack explicit references to faith, God, Christ, or the Gospel. My question for reviewers with this perspective is: Is the only time you glorify God when you mention the Gospel (i.e. the "good news")? The answer should obviously be no. And if it's not, then ask yourself the question, what does glorify God?

Joy was my favorite singer about 5 years ago with her Christian cds. Then she disapeared! I was so sad! And now she's back and her music is definitely awesome. I wish that it was all still Christian music, but you know what? That's okay because BarlowGirl pretty much takes care of the good Christian music. But I am so glad that Joy is back with some great music!

Another in a series of melodic and beautiful songs performed by the amazing Joy Williams. "Sunny Day" was featured in the premiere of the CW's returning drama "90210" and "I Hate It When We Fight" is an introspective peice through which Joy shares some of her emotions as a recently married young woman. Riveting to watch perform in person; Joy is a unique talent that just leaves you wanting more. I'm already guilty of an "in-car" sing along session. Thank you Joy for your wonderful music!

Along with Songs from That- EP I was so glad that I could buy these today! I love the songs "I hate it when we fight" and "sunny day" , although how can you pick a favorite of Joy's songs?!
