  • Album Great - But Tracks Misrepresented In Itunes Store

I just thought people should know that the track lengths listed for these tracks are siginificantly longer in many cases than the actual tracks as downloaded. Invisible Man, for example, is listed as 8:50, but the downloaded track is 5:34 in length. This inconsistency applies throughout the album. I have since bought the CD, and the downloaded track lengths do match the CD tracks. I know there are longer versions out there, but don't get confused like I did.
  • As solid as his productions...

Sultan has always been one of my favorite producers/remixers but now he is also one of my favorite DJs! This album is absolutely great, it flows through the songs seamlessly and you will find yourself sitting and nodding your head to the tracks. Easily the best release from GU this year. Also kudos for bringing back the Nubreed series!

Even though he does hold true to his sound and it's awesome production throughout, I was hoping for at least one or two tracks to break away from the constant thump thump thump thump 4x4 beat. Even deep dish who made sultan famous threw in a break beat in their fabulous Toronto album. I look forward to sultans future and can only imagine what kind of break beats he could conjure should he ever decide to experiment a little... But I have to admit there is something to be said about those who stay true to their style. Experimenting deemed layo and bushwacka "worst GU album ever" from the simpsons comic book guy.

Man can this guy produce! I am loving this NuBreed, I can see him totally living up to the legacy. Well done Sultan! Moments, Verona and Crimson are killer tracks on this comp but Roads Under Ramallah is just as gorgeous as it gets. I bow sir I bow.

Through listening to 10 of the 33 new tracks and I'm happy to report All Joy as I rely on the gang in New Castle to get it right every time. Sultan is a master of the unexpected and sublime. Love these tracks and look forward to listening to them for the rest of this wonderful summer 2009 and beyond. Thank you again Global Underground for delivering the goods in time on time all the time. And thank you Sultan for becoming an exciting new member of the GU fraternity of mixers, producers and composers.
