A wonderful perpective so fresh and alive with sound and story.

It's been a while since Rachel's has released an album; As of now, they're in "deep hibernation." Never fear, since Rachel Grimes is still making the same beautiful music as her parent ensemble. This is what you hear outdoors, in the rain, in the snow, in the sleet, in the hail, in the wind, everywhere, yet channeled through her fingers, through the piano, to form the vibrations that reach your unsuspecting eardrums. It doesn't take long to realize how profound these sounds are. I'll even go so far to say this is some of her best work (solo or with Rachel's). Haunting, reflective, and never too many, the notes are in impeccable order. Highly recommended.
