Reviews

  • Eddie Amador vs Buble

The combination works really well! I got these mixes (Eddie Amador) over a year ago and still listens to them all the time. I love how he incoporated the string arrangements into his mixes. To be honest, the original mixes of this song did not really appeal to me at all. I for one prefer dance mixes of songs by artists if done with care.

Michael Buble is a talented man, DUH!!!!! But this messs hear is the worse. His voice is the strongest , purest thing I've heard in a while, why go and mess it up. His voice is classic and timeless, I hope Mr. Buble reads these reviews. Stick to what you know cause this aint it!!!!

I'm a big fan of Buble. I also seek out remixes, even of jazz and torch classics, if there is something unique or it reinterprets a song in an interesting way. This collection is amateurish and just plain lame. Laying Buble's voice over a dance/electronica track cheapens him and is unlistenable. An extended mix, using the original vocal and orchestral source would be something else. This is awful.
  • Old School Strings and Melody

It's kind of refreshing to have a dance song with strings and a melody. Remember melody. So for many this may seem so wrong but I remember when a tune like this would pack a dancefloor whether it be Studio 54 or Fire Island. The mix of choice is the 8:04 Eddie's House Lovers Club Mix. The rest may not be so necessary.

As a veteran electronic dance music fan, Michael Bublé was really never the type of artist who I had intended to listen to. As the trends in my genre of music evolve, the remixers and the DJ's expand their horizons to include many different artists from nearly any genre. Does it always work? No. But, it does work here. Eddie Amador made this song into a blazing club anthem. For those who can't appreciate this form of artistic expression, you don't have to buy it! This is a way that many artists are expanding their fanbase to as many people as they possibly can. What's so wrong with that? For 25 years, I have explored the dance music scene. I've always been keeping an ear for those dance and electronic artists who constantly try something new. The most important artists in any genre have made a living by adapting with the lastest trends and expanding their fanbase. My hat goes off to both Eddie Amador and Michael Bublé for this amazing project.

I love Buble'. This is crap. His voice needs nothing. Why all the electronic sounding crap?

I love Michael Buble he has an amazing voice but remixing his music just ruins everything that is so great about his style there are just somethings that are not meant to be remixed and this is defintely one of them.

What is this? Did he need another buck or did he accidentally give someone permission to do this? Come on...
