A lot of (great) old stuff

I was very excited when I heard Rex the Dog had a full-length album as Prototype and Maximize are two of my favorite songs. Rex (and his owner) blend a range of old school sounds, reminiscent of disco-era analog synthesizers and videogame chips, into very modern tracks that somehow avoid sounding like either disco or videogame music. The result is enjoyable and danceable with a slight trace of melancholy.
It's therefore bittersweet that both Prototype and Maximize, along with a number of other already released tracks (Heartbeats, Circulate, Tony the Beat, Frequency, and I Look Into Mid Air) are included on this album. I was hoping for all-new tracks. If you don't own these great singles already, buy the whole album. Otherwise, this is where iTunes shines over having to buy a CD full of tracks I already own.
