I love this guy's music. It's uniquely his and yet is accessible to anyone. Lyrically I love ths stories he tells, especially This Time Will Be Better and Take One With Me. He uses everyday language to create a specific world. I'm taken right into the song. His more poetic songs are accompanied by ethereal soundscapes that transport you into his feeling. My Only Fan is bizarrely awesome; Stay is so real and relatable; and Rockets is a bonafide hit. He's already got a song on TV. Given time, Andy Lange will succeed no doubt.

I purchased this album since Andy was featured on the TV show Leverage. I love the entire album. Andy's voice is haunting in some tracks, uplifting in others. The album takes you on a journey. I can't get enough.

This album is great, buy it.

When I listen to Lange's music, I am magically transported to a land where Nick Drake is enjoyable and Iron and Wine doesn't instantly make me fall asleep. Of course, his music is quite different from either of those artists, drawing upon many more genres. It is well worth a listen for any fan of any kind of music.

Lange's music covers a wide range of styles and subject matter and brings a sense of hope even while recognizing loss and grief. This singer-songwriter has is own approach that is difficult to categorize into a particular genre. At times he can have a minimalist approach (singer and solo acoustic guitar), but he frequently branches out into more lush instrumentation and harmonies. His music has overtones and humour reminiscent of some of the early Beatles and Beach Boys but is clearly not derivative of either. Despite the distinctly different approach of each song, they all hang together well. It is hard to find love songs these days which are not degrading, hackneyed, or whining--but Lange has found a way of expressing affection in a refreshing fashion. These days, optimism, hope and humour are all in short supply. He is an artist with a voice to be heard. I will anxiously await his next release.
