I went to high school with Christina in the western New York area! It was always obvious that she is smart and talented. I'm really happy for her. This album is classy and refreshing! Way to go girl!
  • This is the BEST record I've heard...

....in many many years! Finally, something that is real. I love all the songs....they are all beautifully crafted. Check it out. She's amazing. I've listened to it on repeat. Best ten dollars I've spent in a long time!!!

I'd say she has a very pretty voice, but her songs are more for siting down to a relaxing dinner or something, and can get a little boring...

Christina's gorgeously unique voice atop her simple yet interesting music makes for a beautiful Album. Her string arrangments are superb, and her voice is one of the coolest i've heard. I highly reccomend (if not the whole album) Foreign Country and Green Jay.

Fabulous record that I first caught wind of through All Songs Considered (thanks Bob Boilen for yet another great tip). Proof yet again that formal training does not necessarily prevent one from making mind blowing pop songs (on the contrary, it can be an enormous advantage) and that amateur dilettantes (like myself) who grew up with the punk/post-punk mentality that "anyone can play guitar" should think twice. It's intimidating enough to discourage one from trying to write songs, and just leave it to the professionals. Who's the bassist on this album, by the way? He/she kills.
