Coil is arguably the best Toad album...it deserved so much more attention than it received.

For weird in-house label-politics reasons, this record did not get the support it deserved when it was released. Despite the soft sales figures, it has some of Toad's greatest songs on it. Creative, thoughtful, and expertly produced. If you like Toad, and you don't have this record, you ought to click on the "Buy" button right now. If you're a dabbler, my favorite tracks are 1, 2, 4, and 8.

This is a fantastic album, particularly the first seven songs. Lyrically, musically, Toad is at the very top of their artistic game with this collection. I'm only a listener, not a music critic. All I can say is thank you gentlemen for the work put into this and the legacy left by it. Bravo.
