This album is so refreshing!!! For one, it is all original songs. Not the same Brahm's lullaby, AGAIN! Secondly, I love Rick's voice. Third and finally, I love that a male singer made a children's lullably album. It is nice to hear a father's sentiments for his child. Thanks Rick, awesome album!

I bought this cd looking for something different than the usual lullabyes that all sound the same to me. Always have been a Rick Springfield fan, but did not know what to expect...Definitely worth every penny ! :)

Yes I am a big Springfield fan, and no he is not hard to look at, but I have always loved his songwriting more than anything. Rick is the Rodney Dangerfield of music and probably always will be. This is a great collection of very sweet songs where the love for his children shines through. I love that he took a chance and released this collection. When my girls were babies I fruitlessly searched for lullabies which would be enjoyable for both of us. I ended up with classical music as a last resort. Luckily they are still small enough to enjoy this set with mom! My favorite - "Don't Keep the Sandman Waiting"
