I AGREE, THE 2001 ALBUM MAGNIFICATION IS ALSO A VERY GOOD YES ALBUM, THAT ITUNES SHOULD OFFER.

The version of “I’ve seen all good people” on this album is the regular version. But you if buy the cd you get the live version. I want the live 1978 version of “I’ve seen all good people” on this album just like the cd.

The”live” version of I’ve Seen All Good People” as issued on the original release of “Classic Yes” is in fact not live, but the studio version. Sad, disappointing, but not surprised.

This is a fair collection but missing songs from Tormato and Drama. The 2 live tracks are great though.
  • Live cut of I've Seen Al Good People is the best ever!

The live version of I've Seen All Good People from 1978 on this Classic Yes greatest hits compilation is the best performance of the song that I've ever heard from Yes - either live in person, on other live recordings of theirs, or out of the studio. I love the little solos at the end of the song. I know they did kinda continue to do that in live performances of ISAGP in the many years after 1978, but they never did it quite the same and with the magic of this particular recording. It's one of a kind. Otherr than that, this compilation does a pretty good job of capturing Yes' best "small and medium song" material from the 1970s.

I sure miss liner notes, don't you? This "album" was compiled by Chris as a sampling of the "best hits" from the band(s) of Yes. I bought it as a summary of their best and have always loved the mix. It is EQ'd more like the old albums and I really like it that way.

This was the first album my dad gave me to listen to when I was maybe 15. This album literally inspired me to pursue music.

Even if you have all of the other Yes albums I reccomend getting this one because of the great songs on it.

The best part is that this is the only old yes album that didn't get editors in any way, amazing. You get yours is no disgrace, starship trooper and I've seen all good people live from the yes album. Roundabout, long distance runaroud, the fish, and heart of the sunrise from fragile. Wonderous stories from going for the one, and my personal favorite on the album, and you and I from close to the edge. Truely classic songs, and the albums they're from are some of yes' greatest.
