Rasmus Faber is a groove genius. He weaves elements of jazz, classical, R&B, pop, and new age into a funky fresk house backdrop that just explodes in your ears. This album is 13 tracks STRONG. No filler here my friends. Things get started right with the lovely "Alright Interlude" that flows into the full song "Everything Is Alright" featuring Linda Sundblad (such a lovely voice). Vocalists Dyanna Fearon and Clara Mendes won't be out done on the tunes. I wish Rasmus would have had Linda, Dyanna, and Clara on one song. WOW! But the story here is Mr. Faber's musicianship and originality. As a keyboardist myself, I deeply appreciate the awesome melodies that "RF Genius" is laying down. He's an old school groove keyboardist in the same vein of The Isley Brothers' Chris Jasper. And Rasmus' synth string work is just... AWE INSPIRING. For those of you that have never heard of Rasmus Faber, this album will introduce you to musical pioneer that you won't get enough of. And for all us "Faber Heads", well, we just stay addicted. Shame we can't see him live in the USA!
