The reviews from a few years ago say that track 8 has some technical problems. That has been fixed, so don't let that stop anyone from purchasing. The collection is fantastic.

Track 8 (Adagio of the Organ Concerto) is defective and has blank interruptions through it. Otherwise the record is fine and I would give it 4 stars.

Track number 8 on this album is defective. There is a lot of static in the track, and the music on the track actually cuts off and on as if someone is turning the sound on and off. The track is unlistenable. The rest of the album is fine, however. I don't know if the CD has this problem, but the download edition definitely does. I purchased track number 8 from iTunes and one other online download service, and the track had the same problem both times.

Probably the best recording of Zadok the Priest there is. Exquisite vocals is to be expected from The Sixteen of course, but everything about this album is just right. Lovely harpsichord parts as well. I wish iTunes would let me "complete" the album though - I don't want to buy the same songs twice!
