I've been listening this disc for quite a few years...one of those rare finds - I don't even remember how I stumbled into it. I gotta tell you, I have NEVER gotten tired of it. Blistering guitars and bashing drums, nice harmonies and great songs. The comparison to Sugar by the official reviewer is apt when talking about the wall of guitar noise, but Betty Pickup sounds edgier and less "formula driven" than that (this coming from a big Sugar fan). So forget that nonsense about it all being just an all out guitar assault. Oh, it IS that, but I find it to have a great variety, with lots of change-ups in mode and tempo and some really catchy and interesting song structures (while your ears turn pleasingly numb).
Bottom Line: Like Indie Guitar Rock? Give this a try.
