    Each song is linked to the previous one in an interwinding blend of funk, rock and pop. An album reflecting and questioning conventional ideas about love and even stating that "you don't need love." Smart college songs you can dance to and learn from.

  • An Amazing Album that Mixes In a Little of Everything

    I am surprised to be the first one to review this album, although I can see this was recently uploaded to iTunes... Why it wasn't here in the first place boggles me. But I digress... More Songs About Buildings and Food is clearly an advancement of the eclectic sound of Talking Heads. The convergence of music styles with David Byrne's lyrics and unique voice is as present here as in Talking Heads 77. Thank You For Sending Me An Angel, With Our Love, and Girls Want To Be With The Girls are some of my favorite TH songs on this album, besides the most well known track, Take Me To The River. This gets a 10/10 in my book for it is TH at their beginning with wonderfully executed rhythms and lyrics on every track.
