Still recall getting this early fall of 93. Explosive riffs, bellowing vocals, down grooves. Really excellent songset.

Ozma, Glue Porch Treatments, Bullhead & Lysol are some of my favorite albums of all time. Huge fan of such. By Houdini was such a disappointment. I was a major fan during those says and I recall seeing Mevins Open for Rush at a nearly empty Cow Palace and thought - "two great bands have died before my eyes tonight." This album Seemed to transform Melvins into a sideshow circus act. Sad something so good ends up rotting.

Some would say they're underrated as a band. To me, they're rated where they are because this is the best they have to offer and it's just okay.

And I can't imagine there ever will be. When it comes to sludge Buzzo is the king and he's at his absolute best here. The Melvins are simply the greatest.

I'd like to see Jack Black make a sequel to Tenacious D pic of destiny and use Honey Bucket in another rock challenge to kick the devils but. Great song

If you think you know metal, then listen to the Melvins before you call yourself a headbanger. This band is completely underrated and deserve their name in metal music. This album is a classic and I repeat, it's their best! I recommend you listen to their earlier releases first, so appreciate these legends.
