Wrong Track!

This is NOT the version of Front Page News from the album Down On The Farm! It's barely recognizable.
So aggravating.
One of the great albums!

iTunes screwed up the download of Front Page News. The version here is from Hoy, Hoy album. It’s a shame because this is a classic tune from LF and my personal fav. Great synth/keys from Payne and vocals from Lowell.

Down On The Farm isn't Little Feat's best, but it's still really good. An underappreciated track is Wake Up Dreamig, which is my favorite tune on here. The platful title track sets a kind of goofy tone for the album which while it may have been pushed out by the label, is still a worthwhile listen. Give it a shot, you'll probably like it!
Missing a track

This is not the real album. Front page news in this compilation is an outtake from hoy hoy (a different album). I am upset that I purchased this mainly for the track "front page news" and that is the only track missing. If you like the other tracks you can buy them if you want. I was stupid enough to rely on itunes to get it right and now I have purchased the entire album missing a track. Just a warning.

This is the first Feat album I remember from my youth. I loved it then and still enjoy listen through the entire album today.
Ignore the ignorant itunes review

Having been a Little Feat fan for many years this is still a beautiful album.
Great songs including Six Feet of Snow, Be One Now, Perfect Imperfection, Down on the Farm, Feel the Groove.
Underrated LF classic
Miss you Lowell (Birthday 4/15)
Little Feat did Lowell proud by releasing this classic album
Front Page News is different than original album

Does anyone know why the Front Page News version downloaded is way different than the original album version (which by the way I liked a lot better). Kind of disappointing

This album is classic Little Feat. Very enjoyable, and not as written in the first review. If you like Little Feat this album is worthwhile. 6 of the 9 songs are awesome. It's a 5 star buy!

The above review could not be further from the truth, which is...this is a wonderful record! 6 of these 9 tracks are absolutely wonderful Little Feat, especially the title track and the moving ballad "Be One Now". The last 3 songs are forgettable, true, but the rest are classic and beautiful remembrances of a great band. Please, ignore this review. This is not a sad, embarrassing project completed at the label's demands. It is a wonderful collection of songs that are a fitting tribute to George. Buy it!!!!
