Best Talking Heads album!

The songs are random, funny, upbeat, and all around classic. I will support myself to say Talking Heads is the best band of the eighties. They carried new wave on their backs. Something, I certainly can't say about other bands of that decade. Sure, Depeche Mode is also very definitive, but this bands creativity is appalling. The best songs and the ones that stick out most to me (in order):
"Burning Down the House", "This Must be the Place (Naive Melody)", "Girlfriend is Better", "Slippery People", and "Flippy Flop Flop". Okay, everyone must know of "Burning Down the House", I mean honestly there all timeless but this one is most notable for carrying it's catchy rhythm and utterly bizarre lyrics. "This Must be the Place" as a final track works fabulously as a love song with the soft smooth rhythm to the different instruments (most notably: flute) coming into play, it is genius. I know a lot of people think David Bryne's voice is not perfect, but I honestly don't think it matters a bit. He shows just like Bob Dylan, you don't need a beautiful voice to portray amazing lyrics or show emotion, unlike even some of the most talented voices out there. Moving on "Girlfriend is Better", is an instant dance classic carrying an instantly captivating start in lyrics and beat. Finally, I don't know who wouldn't find this band talented as experienced in this album and the rest of theirs, even if they don't care for their type. And for that this is my favorite Talking Heads album, second being 'Talking Heads: 77' and third being 'Remain in Light' and so on. Also, I recommend buying their greatest hits as well. Advice: their 99cents songs are sometimes better than the more popular 1.29 songs.
