  • Smooth Jazz Style of Jeff Porcaro

As usual Jeff Porcaro has shown that he could play behind any well known Jazz artist and sound so great. As is evident in the two albums that featured him and his drums. Apasionado and Children of the World by the Late Stan Getz.Different genres and styles needed his own unique groove. Superb musicianship was displayed throughout. And tastefully presented as only he knew how. Still number one and a legend in his own time. And without a doubt the best heartstrings drummer and my gorgeous Dreamyeyed Angel.Hold the Line. Love isn't always on time.πŸ“±πŸ’šπŸŽΊπŸ’™πŸ˜ˆπŸˆπŸ“€πŸ˜ΏπŸŽΌπŸŽ·πŸ“²πŸ±πŸ’œπŸ’ΏπŸ˜‡πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜πŸ’›πŸ˜…πŸŽΉπŸ˜€πŸ―β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜‚πŸŽ§πŸŽ»πŸŽΈπŸ’½β€οΈπŸŽ€. Rockmaker etc etc

Clearly not the original classics, but a delightful variation on all. Sarah Vaughan proves the theory that a real singer can sing anything and make it a crowdpleaser. iTunes didn't do a very good job reviewing Songs of the Beatles, however, whether you're a Beatles fan or Sarah Vaughan fan (or both like me), you will enjoy this album. The price ain't bad either.

I think you'll be surprised the definitive tributes to the Beatles of songs like "Blackbird" and "Eleanor Rigby" belong to Sarah Vaughan. Although I have to hand "Yesterday" to Dionne Warwick.
