i think that this album is better than Parting should be Painless, but it is not Daltrey's best solo album. If you want to see his best stuff it is Gold or Under a Raging Moon! Don't get me wrong I think that all of Daltrey's albums are awesome but this is one of his less popular ones. It just lacks Daltrey's soul and compassion that he put into all of the songs when he was with The Who! If you ask me I think that The Who should have never broken up, because this album just isn't that great. Can you imagine what The Who could have done if they didn't split up? They could have had like a million more hits!Roger and Pete were never the best of friends and broke up as The Who in the 80's because of the loss of Keith Moon. Then they got back together in the 90's for a few concerts and in 2002 were going to release a new album but then lost John Entwistle. So they kind of broke up. But, anyway this album is still great, just not the best.

This is an underated album by the greatest singer in Rock and Roll history. Just saw Roger in concert and he sang two tracks from this album, Days of Light and Who's Gonna Walk on Water. He loved singing them, he had a blast! If you love Roger and/or The Who you will enjoy this album. Everything a Heart Could Ever Want is about his daughter growing up and will move anyone who is a parent. The album moves fast and is a great album to have on your work out playlist. By the way, The Who never broke up, they lost two members, but they are still rocking on. Personally, I think Daltrey is the best solo album, a few tracks are on Gold.

Daltrey, Ride a Rock Horse, McVicar, Raging Moon, Rocks in Head: These are the best of Daltrey. Rocks is his last studio album and a damn good one. I recommend this and Raging/Daltrey to all fans.
