Not only is her music spectacular, but her pronunciation of other languages is superb! I first heard her sing in Spanish and to my ears (I am just a Spanish student) her phonetics are flawless! After that I heard her sing in Italian and her music continued to capture my attention.
As someone who appreciates both music and languages, I have really come to adore Laura as an artist, and I recommend her to everyone! My favorite tracks are Primavera in anticipo and Invece no.
Keep singing Laura!
Ciao!
Simply sublime

This album is full of beautiful powerful Italian ballad/pop songs..
For those fans who have followed Laura throughout the years, like me, will completely understand the reasons behind each song.. and the concept of this album, which highlights the current phase of happiness that Laura is going through. Happiness and confidence with herself and with the 3+ years intense love relationship she is living with Paolo Carta, her guitar player.
My favorite songs are:
-Invece No, Un Fatto ovvio e Il mio Beneficio, followed by; - Bellisimo Cosi, La Geografia del mio camino, Prima che esci e Primavera in Anticipo (solo version! even though I LOVE James Blunt to dead, I think the SOLO version sounds much better and makes more sense).
Primavera In Anticipo

I heard the Spanish version of this album before the Italian, and it seemed to me that some of the lyrics were quite overdone with far fetched phrases which at time sounded confusing, leaving you with an "Excuse, me, what are you trying to say?". However, after listening to the Italian versions of the same songs, I was able to understand what she was trying to say. Her pronunciation in Spanish is flawless, but at times when translating a song and trying to make the words flow in a song, the message gets lost in the way. It happens especially with Primavera in Anticipo, which makes more sense in Italian than the Spanish Primavera anticipada. Other than that, amazing CD, I especially recommend: Bellisimo Cosi, La geografia del mio cammino (awesome lyrics), and the single Invece no.

I discovered Laura while working on my Italian over the past few months, and I was searching for ways to surround myself with the language. I figured music would be a good way to expose myself while at work and doing other things so I began searching beyond the obvious (Bocelli, Pavoratti, etc). What a pleasant surprise when I purchased 'Io Canto' and 'Resta in Ascolto' and I've been waiting anxiously for the release of 'Primavera in Anticipo' in a high quality format here in the US. It is obvious Laura likes to rock, the energy in this album is great, and you are compelled to sing along from the first note. I feel this album is a real mile-stone in Laura's career, and I hope many more Italian Americans discover this Siren from Emilia-Romagna. Grazie iTunes, Laura Pausini è la massima!
