I like Lotus at high energy. It sounds like they fused with the New Deal on some tracks. Don't miss Lotus live!

No its not what we're use to with this band but I like that the guitar is more up front, saw them do alot of this album the other night, really good stuff live.

The album is much more up-tempo and wide-open rock sounding than some of their previous. Personally i was hoping for more of those, slower, grooved out tracks that they've layed down so well in the past, but at least its something fresh. Gotta give these guys major credit. Not their best in my opinion but an A+ never the less!!
Tight.

As compared to their other albums, its definitely more of a rocking, rising sound. I would say their best studio album. Great subtle use of instruments. As soon as this came out, I knew I was going to buy it. Don't bother to preview. Just buy it.

This is an interesting new step for Lotus, but I'm not sure they have met their maximum potential. IMO Nomad was absolutely mind blowing, and with this new album comes some of that acid jazz or ambient soul tone we all love, as well as gnarly guitar. I think any Lotus fan can appreciate this new album, and can't help but groove when listening to it.

Kind of a weird release from Lotus, definitely doesnt stand up to any of there other work. With such fantastic older albums like Nomad and The Strength of Weak Ties, its a shame theyd come out with such a weak, disappointing release. Don't know what they were thinking...
