"Mellow," Maria Mena's European answer to "White Turns Blue," showcases some of the better songs from the Mena catalog. From the edgy yet defined sound in "Patience," to sad more sophisticated sound in the heart-break thriller, "Sorry," Mena's defiantly matured since her debut "Another Phase." Her lyrics are filled with so much more emotion, and her rhythms have aged for the better. The bubblegum-pop sounds heard throughout the album just complement the outstanding lyrics. A great compilation to traditional Mena fans.
