I'll definitely add Ximena's debut to my list of top 5 best albums I've ever heard! First of all, she's a wonderful songwriter and sings with such emotion and passion. Secondly, this album is a unique blend of jazz, electro pop, and Latin beats all rolled in one disc. Every song on the album is my favorite, but if I had to reccommend a few songs they would definitely be:
1. Normal
2. Cambio de Piel
3. Pocas Palabras
4. Sintiendo Rara
Do not hesitate to purchase this album; it is well worth it! Also, I wouldn't really compare Ximena's music with anyone else in the English market as I feel she doesn't compare. Ximena has a very unique sound and flair about her as both a performer and a person. However, if you are familar with Mexican singer/songwriter Natalia LaFourcade's music (released the album Hu, Hu, Hu), you will love this as both women are friends and share similar musical styles.

I just saw her live and she was even more amazing! She mixes her own beats and overlays her voice-- she's a one girl show that brings indepent AND latin music above and beyond. Ximena is a great buy and if you get the chance to see her live, don't think twice!

I listened to Ximenas music,right after watching the Movies, NInas Mal & Amar te duele.. ever since i've been hooked on her music. I like it more because she makes most of her music,not only she sings great but her lyrics are deep too.Favorites are;Gris,Mediocre,Te estas sintiendo rara, and Puedo, No vuelvo mas..She has also recorded albums W/ Omar Rodriguez Lopez,the CD solar gambling is the Shiznit. she will definitely stay around for a while.

Esta cd me encanta todos los canciones son buenos, pero el mejor es cambio de piel. Tienes que escuchar esta cd te juro que te va gustar es algo diferente y es mejor de las cosas que escuchas en el radio .

Lo cual hace este album algo mágico y grandioso. Ximena es grande y lo demuestra: su voz inigualable y el sentimiento ke le pone es lo máximo. Mis canciones favoritas del álbum son: mediocre, un error, no vuelvo mas. Se las recomiendo!
