Not your usual dance music - Fantastic!

Usually I find myself, at least, somewhat disappointed in dance albums that I have downloaded. Usually the background music is terrible (great intro which is why the samples are better than the real thing). Usually the vocals lack passion, strength or unbelievability - the waifish/whiny/disconnected sound only goes SO far (Colby Caillat anyone?).
This is not your usual dance music.
Vocalist Lina Rafn sings like she is holding you hostage with a .45 caliber. Not only does *she* believe everything she's singing, but sings it with a passion that will (actually) stun you. On the flip side of the coin (the rendition of "Vienna," the Ultravox classic), she can also envelop you in a cloud of liquid smoke - both languid and ethereal.
Musician (and part-time support vocals) Paw Lagermann gives the music it's electrosexual pulse with a beat that will have you breaking into a spontaneous-groove in the middle of a department store.
Download it. Now.
Still Great!

I am a huge fan of Infernal's first album, From Paris to Berlin, and I am also enjoying this album very much. It has a slightly different feel than their first album, not quite as heavy dance most of the way through, but still great dance songs, along with some slower ones. Her voice and lyrics are still great, but I enjoy the previous album a little more. However, it's still a must have! I appreciate that they branched out a bit and have a bit of a different sound at times.
GREAT stuff!

Infernal is a very interesting duo. They always keep working on new and interesting dance/pop/rock sounds. And they suceed with Electric Caberet. Not quite what I was expecting but a wonderful pleasant surprise. The more I listen the more I love it and am amazed at how good they really are. Shame the US is still so far behind the curve with great music like this.
WOW!

Once you listen to whenever you need me, you WILL be hooked. I enjoyed their first CD and this is even better. As stated before, they really know how to re-invent themselves. A must CD.
Great Dance Album!

One thing that this group does well is its versatility, unlike other groups of this genre the beats starts to sound the redundant. The female lead singer is like upgraded Kylie running on high octane. Furthermore, Infernal uses various sounds that makes their music unique and easily get hooked (i.e. "Dead or Alive"). If you're looking for beats to dance to this album will do it!
best album of the year?

it looks like it might end up taking that spot; in my mind at least. the album is eclectic of many differnt styles, rolled masterfully into one amazingly original album, that does nothing but please the eardrum.
the most notable tracks include: Redefinition, Whenever You Need Me, Because Uhh, and Days Full of Loving.
even if you don't think you're interested in this group, please check out these songs, among the others, this is one of, if not the, best album of the year.
it's no1 in denmark, their homeland, and it should at least be taken note of in the states.
The wait is over...and prepare to be amazed.

This CD has met all my expectations and more. Neo-disco with European house, electrodance with stomping pop...this is a near perfect album. I must say I am surprised to see it released here in the U.S. This is an absolutely great album. I will definitely be listening to it for a long time to come.
