I bought this album in 1981 when I was 21 ! Patrick Cowley was a pioneer in the electronic music genre. Much of what you hear today in the dance clubs can be traced back to him ! Its too bad he died so young but the music lives on and on !

Patrick Cowley was way ahead of his time when it comes to music. He was a pioneer in electronic music and his hard work and dedication always paid off. It was a shame that he died so young but his music legacy will always live on. This album contains that elusive version of Menergy that i was trying to find for so long and i am glad that iTunes got it. I bought the complete album and i'd advise you to do the same since it is worth every penny.

This album blasted on the dance floors back in 1981, mostly in the gay clubs. Peak music, still not tired of hearing these tracks. Great album. Hypnotizing pulsating beats. A must have!!!!!

Patrick Cowley was an innovator in electronic dance music and helped forge the "San Francisco" sound of the late 70's and early 80's. His music was played regularly in major clubs like San Francisco's Dreamland, the I-Beam, and the legendary Trocadero Transfer. Thank you to iTunes for making The Fusion Album available for download. And at a great price! I think I paid over $20 for the import CD several years ago.
