Jimmy Edgar's music is one that is a genre of its own. It's electro-funk, futuristic funk, idm, glitch, with a touch of Prince, The Time, and more. It's classy, yet simple, raw yet super produced (but in a way befitting of Edgar's sound). It has that pure fast paced electro-funk, and even a touch of Jazz. From the slow groove on LBLB Detroit to the hard, jerk-your-head Color Strip Warren, this is one pure gem in the world of electronica, and a guaranteed dancefloor classic. It's too bad that there are not more electronic artists continuing this type of futuristic funk. A must have in your collection.
