I remember when I first bought this back in the day on tape. All the cats who worked in the record store here in the Chi dogged me out for bragging about "how out" there and tight I thought RBX album was. He was ahead of his time creatively. This dude was straight gangsta and at the same time eccentric. His flows were some times off beat and didn't rhyme. So what! The thought was behind it. And it was deep thought. Till this day I think we still didn't get to see the whole picture of RBX's artistry. But those very same record store employes who bragged on their record collection and their in depth music acumen later had to eat crow. They all had a change of mind and later appreciated the album. It's truly an under under ground classic album.

Nobody quite does it like the Narrator, hands down an overlooked classic, this bumps from start to finish, one small complain is all the in-between segments, other than that, don't skip on RBX's solo debut. Big Long Beach.
