I absolutely LOVE this whole CD! Mike Zito is an amazing singer, performer, & guitar player. He Rocks! I just saw him recently at a private party on the river in Louisiana. It was awesome!!!! I have watched him play alot in the past in Lake Charles,LA & was soooo excited to get to see him again. We all really enjoyed it. Its not every day you get to see an amazing artist play the guitar with his tongue & a beer bottle. :)~ Keep on Rocking out!!!! From your friends down on the river :)

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Album! Mike Zito has an amazing soulful voice. So glad I found him on XM Radio! Very talented singer & guitarist, just love this album. BUY IT!!

"little red corvette" -- wow! i bought this album after hearing the Prince cover and i'm not disappointed. also listening to Eddie Skuller, and Ruthie Foster -- for contemporary blues, if that's your thang!

That's what I thought when I first heard the song "Holding Out for Love" this guy can write songs so beautifully and with so much meaning too. Some of his songs really borrow from John Mayer's Continuum album as far as sound. It has that pop and blues mixture but with a little bit more emphasis on this blues side of things than John Mayer. If you liked John Mayer's Continuum album you should definitely pick up this album, it's a real work of art.

..i guess that makes it all right. the true words of such a spiratual, moving, inspiring human being like this man. No other in the industry could produce such magical works of art. It's just the kind of music that gets you clapping. LISTEN! YOU WILL ENJOY! P.S. This guy's son is my BFFL! :)

This guy has a great distinct voice and plays guitar amazingly. You will probably like him if you like dave matthews or jack johnson

i saw mike in concert with tab beniot last night. he was really good! i was thinking about buying the cd there but it was a bit pricey so i thought that i would check here on itunes. (it's much cheaper here.) i may even buy it now since i liked the music so much last night.

Mike Zito knows the blues and shows you how it's done on Today. Zito has the perfect voice to match his emotional and funky guitar playing.

I own two other of Mike's CD's but I must say this one by far is his best! It has a little different flair from his other music, it's a little more on the Pop/Rock side than traditional blues but every song is GREAT!! I think some of these songs could be big hits on the radio. My favorites include: Love Like This, Superman, Holding out for love, Little Red Corvette, Universe, Slow it Down, Today, and Time to Go Home ( I know it's practically the whole CD!). Zito is an amazing guitarist and shows off a little bit of his talent on Universe - what a great tune! He also has some awesome vocals like in Time to Go Home. Like another reviewer - I keep playing this CD over & over. Buy it - you won't be disappointed! If you ever get to see Zito live - be sure to catch his show. He will wow you will his Jimmy Hendrix covers. Sometimes he will play with his tongue or behind his head....a truly awesome performance!

Mike Zito is an amazing musician. I saw him perform live at a local music festival and love his style. This is an excellent album, and a very talented individual.
