It's a kooky album with one running theme; that's what makes it so good. Sometimes when I started a track I found myself saying, "What? This is totally different from the previous track!" But then the dialogue kicked in and it all made sense. It's almost like a crazy, old-timey radio broadcast. Worth checking out.

This CD is perfect for those who think humor belongs in music. The album has a cohesive narrative structure that takes you through the classic alien invasion story, parodying the 1938 War of the Worlds broadcast to some degree. The perfect word for the album is "fun." Plot lines aside, the music features some interesting "Zappa-esque" rock moments, which does much to heighten the fun, and some effectively creepy Penderecki style string work, which lends a tangible degree of authenticity to the otherworldly listening experience. It's a great project and was pulled off very well. Steve is a very talented, versatile guy. And an album as entertaining as this one could not be more affordable.
