This is a superb combination of talents, one of the best albums released in 2008. Annekei's voice is so pure that she makes even old standards like "Paper Moon" and "Besame Mucho" sound new again. Jack Lee's guitar as well as the other excellent players on this session make it all sound incredibly good. Hearing Annekei sing Stevie Wonder ("Lately") is a real treat. She sounds amazing singing Spanish and Portugese as well, check out "Llorando" which is Roy Orbison's "Crying" sung in Spanish. Even with all the awesome cover songs, my favorite tracks here are three original compositions; "I Miss You More" and "My Mystery" written by Annekei, and the title track which is a collaboration between Annekei, Jack Lee, and Mark Ledford. This album is one stellar piece of work.

Bravo Jack and Annekei!! A wonderful and fun collaboration. Plus, this is an example of what a solid mixer can do for a really good singer and musicians. Beautiful! The orchestra on "Felicidade" is so clean it gave me chills. Annekei's voice is like a cool gentle breeze. Some of these standards have never sounded better - like "Paper Moon" - and you'll love the harmonica. So, after a stressful day turn down the lights, pop in "Letter", and breath in the clean jazz air.
