These songs are masterpieces of contemporary improvised music. Drawing from an incredibly wide variety of influences, this is fresh and exotic stuff. Gretchen Parlato is enchanting and Francisco's solos are mature and wonderfully paced. Ferenc Nemeth's drum work is some of the most incredible I've heard, and Leo Genovese has already developed his own identifiable and extraordinary sound. Peter Slavov and Damien Cabaud lay it down beautifully. This is a must own for any jazz fan, and promises to be one of the most memorable albums of 2008.

Francisco's music is truly inspirational. He is a very talented musican.
