The love of my life introduced me to this amazing artist a little over 2 1/2 years ago and I have not been disappointed. If you appreciate real "soul" music then you cannot lose with this album or her previous releases. I will be front and center to see this exceptional woman on July 18, 2009 at BB KING'S in NYC and I can't wait! My standout favorites on this album are Can't Stop, What I'd Do, Come Over and Let Me Love You. I will give a full review of her live performance which I'm sure will be as great.
Kick back and relax

Conya Doss brings a stunning account of soul to this album while giving the listerner something to lift spirits and bob their heads to. While most of it is of course dealing with love lost and love found, there is the couple of up beat tempo songs that will still pull you back and let you know you are listening to music that will get your feet moving. I really enjoy this CD and the entire vibe. This is good at a barbecue, or for just chilling with friends while the music plays in the background. I recommend this for anybody that loves soulful sounds by a good singer. I really felt this album.
Still the one!

Ms Doss doesn't get the credit she deserves because of radio air play. Most radio stations just play mainstream dollars...not true artist like Ms Doss. This album completes the flow of the rest. Got them ALL!!!
She really Goes Down Easy!!!

The girl is so smooth, she's like a jazzed out MJB. Being that I'm in a rocky marriage I need music like this to overcome the turbulance that I find myself in, Yeah, that's what music like this does, gives you hope and get's you into a more spiritual state that prevails over the physical. Black radio gives little "sponsorship" to this kind of music, which is sad and keeps us from evolving into better people. Of course, "What I'd Do" is my joint, but other standouts are "Common Ground", "I Miss You", "Emotions", "Turn It Up"...hell the whole darn album is tight. Thank you Ms. Doss for putting your heart and soul into your music!!
I do apologize!!!! AWESOME!

Living in the ATL you won't hear about wonderful artist like yourself. They are brianwashed my T-Pain and generic rap. I purchased all three of your CDs. Keep making soulful music and singing from you heart. You are a n artist I will buy before I hear the CD. Because I know I will not be disappointed.
