  • Definitely a Great Album!

This album sounds like roots reggae (unlike a lot of reggae I hear nowadays), which is my favorite kind of reggae. Seriously, every track on here is GREAT, and unlike a lot of albums, every track also sounds different from each other one. I'm so happy I got this album, and I would suggest it to any reggae fan.

I heared of Rootz Underground when i was in Jamacia in 08' on T.V, Couldent remember who they were for 2 years. When I found it on itunes, It was an instant buy and some of the best newer school Reggae i've heard to date! "And I listen to more Reggae then most' , Must buy for anyone who wants the Best That Reggae has to offer these days

I got home from the Houston International Festival about an hour ago and these guys had the best set of the entire day. It was high energy, continuous, and everyone was dancing, best of all u can tell they love what theyre doing and made an effort to connect to the audience, im sure they made a lot of fans today and the album is well worth it.

This is a quality roots reggae album. Rootz Underground keep it original sounding and bring a new sound for the '00's. I caught these guys at the South By Southwest Music Fest last year and they can bring the live sound too. Favorite trax include: Herb Fields, Hammer, Riverstone, How Much Longer.

...WOW!!....Rootz really brings it within this 'Movement' album...so strong, so powerful, so true!...Stephen is so energetic and has a voice that subtly evokes the reminicing tones and vives of Bob...These guys are sure to be around for awhile, and that is evidenced in Jamaica, where I hear Rootz is the hottest thing going right now!!...Jah Bless Rootz Underground!

#1 is Victims of the System because that is the tune that made me fall in love w/ Rootz Underground and the video is amazing. But after seeing RU live three times, my favorite is In My Hut. Rain and Corners of My Mind speak out too. I like listening to the album on replay, real. Reminds me there is "message in that lyric." Hammer hard, Rootz Underground till the earth blaze pure!
