Seriously, one of the greatest albums of all time. The genius of Jeff Lynne cannot be overstated!
Arguably ELO’s Best Album!

Time 1981 is such picturesqueness to the ears as well as to the imagination and the theme is emotionally powerful! It is moreover, Electric Light Orchestra’s best album because of its beauteous electronic/synthwave music that is nothing less than astounding, even beating their Xanadu 1980 & Discovery 1979 albums in comparison! It has a superlative or should I say, stellar song list, including: Twilight (ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS EVER!!), The Way Life’s Meant to Be, Rain is Falling (ANOTHER FAVE!!), From the End of the World, and 21st Century Man. The lyrics are very symbolical and tell a captivating story which is only further enhanced upon with the fact that each song flows into the other so effortlessly. This album doesn’t have a single bad song in it and I highly recommend it to any ELO fan who hasn’t heard it already!

Great album, but in the past “Julie don’t live here” was included. Anyone know the story ?

A marvelous, underated album that finds Jeff Lynne & Co. in their sharpest form. Excellent melodies, synth layering, harmonic vocals, and overarching story make this a great album to listen to over and over.
An amazing album but missing 3 songs

While I love the album a lot I wish Julie don’t live here anymore was included.
A classic album - ahead of it's time!

This album is a classic. The album seems to anticipate future recording technology ... technology which may seem cliche now. But that is not the fault of ELO or this album. This album is truly a concept album (do artists even make concept albums anymore?) with incredible segues leading the listener into another terrific track. This album deserves more than five stars.
LOVE IT!
Never go anywhere without a copy of this

The pinnacle of Jeff Lynne's many great musical achievements. This is one of the 10 all time classic albums I would take on a deserted island. Completely under-appreciated as demonstrated by the lame review, probably by some millennial intern that once heard "Hold on Tight" on his daddy's CD player. "Time" is timeless, the lyrics written with future listening in mind. It's ingenious and comparable to any of the great concept albums by Alan Parsons or Pink Floyd of the same era. " is this the way life's meant to be". Amen ELO!
Classic ELO for all Time!

This is the first album that I listened to entirely to love and cherish ELO! I had grown up hearing all the 70's ELO hits but had never enjoyed an entire album from start to finish! Time is one of their all time greatest records!!! Experience it today!!

Just writing this I feel I have crossed the pretentious barrier that I always thought I would not but – incredible album and my favorite. I find that this is an album that is personally hard to take pieces out of and listen to better to hear it all the way through and enjoy- Timmytsolar
