Without going into great depths, who have you ever, ever heard play Django like this? 'Minor Swing' is flawless and fulfills all anticipations at every impasse. A lot of music has been made since this song's inception and Mark O'Connor and company don't miss any opportunity to share what phrasing is now entitled to participate. Django, if you can believe it, made his music without the benefit and sublime history of rock 'n roll. (I've only heard 5:06 of this entire album to this point--just now the crowd is hooraying).
