Not bad, but...

I still like his older work. Not a bad album, though. This is definitely a good album to use to turn people on to Alec Empire. A little more mainstream than the rest, overall.
By the way, where is the rest of Alec's albums? Where is the entire Atari Teenage Riot catalog? Where is Hanin Elias' or Nic Endo's solo albums? C'mon, iTunes!!!
Not good... at all

It's not very often that I make an impulse buy after listening to a few 30 second samples and end up really really enjoying an album as much as I did with this one. It only comes once or twice a year for me. Alec Empire has an amazingly new sound hat I hope to hear more of. Rock or electronic? It doesn't matter. It's really good!
Ahead of the curve

This sounds like something fresh. This is surely a sound we will here more of in about a couple of years. Finally, something to look foward too.
I really wish upon a fifth star.

like the sound has a pixies F.black distort. More bands should learn from this. proves tech can rock. give a fifth star if there was just a touch more melody.

Hmm...
Gone are the days of ATR and Intelligence & Sacrifice. This is way more pop oriented. Not sure how I feel.

The first album on the Eat Your Heart Out label is a brand new album from the inimitable Alec Empire. EYHO is at the fore-front of a new scene developing in Berlin and spreading worldwide. The only thing we can say is that whatever you have heard before or think to know about Alec, it’s only a small section of his musical arc. This album contains ten tracks of the finest electro-rock to start 2008 with a bang!
