As amazing as the movie is -- and it is -- it is well-matched with the score. Jeff Beal did a beautiful job of capturing the soaring heights and terrible lows in this solitary but crowded sport. I don't often buy soundtracks, but this one is well worth it.

If you have seen the movie then this is by far the most inspirational music you can use on your runs. This in not a fast paced compilation but it does encourage you to go longer and endure a faster run. I have it in my iPod Shuffle and it works for me.

Even if you're not a runner, this makes Chariots of Fire seem like kids play. I too, have never seen a movie and come home right away to find the music. Both the movie and the music are stand-alone pieces of inspiration. Hope they all win tons of awards!

This powerful and emotional soundtrack by Jeff Beal catches you right from the start of the movie. The chord progression and haunting percussion are a fabulous representation of the feelings that runners get while doing their training runs, or taking part in a race. The soundtrack kept going through my mind after the movie premier, and I couldn't help but purchase it online. Worth every cent, and definitely one of the better soundtracks I have heard in a long time. Highly recommended, along with the movie :)

After viewing the movie, I can appreciate more about the soundtrack. It is a incredible soundtrack. It is an inspiring piece of music. Way to go! I would listen to it whenever I go out for a run.

All I can say it WOW! After seeing this movie last night, I was ready to go out for 20 miles!! The music on this soundtrack is incredible. I especially enjoyed the music during the race scenes.
It brought back so many memories and emotions I experienced when I was running my marathons.
So much that now I've been inspired to go for #13 .

Buy this soundtrack and check out this movie! You want to see people of all levels motivated to hit goals, then this is it. I left the theater just minutes ago and couldn't get to iTunes fast enough to see if there was a soundtrack available. You can play this while training and imagine you are in your own movie training during a montage. I would enjoy seeing a sequel (perhaps covering the Boston Marathon?) and another soundtrack.
