It's really great this has been made available. Several of these songs can be heard on the NFL Films highlight show for Super Bowl II (1968): Grand Prix, All Systems Go and Men of Action & Action Stations (from Vol. 2). Slipstream (a) was also in the SBII highlights, but only Slipstream (b) is available here, unfortunately.

If you remember the old Spider-Man cartoon ('67) and some of the early NFL Films highlight shows (some music wasn't done by Sam Spence) you will remember this music. The energy of some of the songs especially "The Hell Raisers" is off the charts. The orchestration done by Syd Dale is fantastic. There are two volumes of his music that was used in the Spiderman cartoon as well as other places. If you like this, check out Sam Spence and the NFL Films music collection.

Anyone in their thirties or forties can hear "The Hell Raisers" and remember being a kid. They should have used this in the movie versions of the web slinger. Kids today got nothing, with this type of energy. Check out "Stop, Look, and Listen" on Volume 2. Thanks iTunes! Please get more like this.
