  • I like these guys, but...

...why is album $20? It doesn't come with anything special, majority of stuff on iTunes is $10. It would be cheaper to buy it track by track, but then we've been prevented from buying one of them. So...glitch? I hope so.
  • Astounding Band

Most of the progressive metal i listen to is usually bands like Opeth and Between The Buried And Me and similar artists. A while back I was on the Metal Blade Records website and i found these guys. When i got this album i was devastated at how heavy and soft they can be. Very progressive and a good addition to anyones music collection.

if anyone didn't know what "Une saison en enfer." in the last album means, it means season in hell. pretty cool i guess. If it does say they are German, its French.

Great Album and probably one of the most intense band out there, but why does it cost more to get the entire album than to buy each one seperately?

Dope. Love it. It's about time for this to come about. Next step in the evolution of sound. Bring it on!!
  • Epic is an understatement

To use the word epic for this album would be a travesty. With it's concept of the birth of our planet, The Ocean have created tidal waves of furious proportions. The first half is similar to Aeolian, it is driving and hard. Taking you through the early volatile formation of Earth as we know it. The second half starts to put the pieces of fury and anger into a cohesive and nearly comforting image. Anyone who enjoys great production and truly creative blending of genres will enjoy this album. I suggest buying the actual CD for it's conceptual art and packaging. That aside musically this is a treasure buried in milennia of crushing sounds.

It's nice to hear a band that's not afraid to defy the standards. Their previous album was more... normal, but I'm really happy to find a group that does whatever they want, not what will sell records. Good job here. Recommended.
  • THE OCEAN rules, as usual ...

Apparently, every track on this CD is named after an Armenian dinosaur (insert rimshot and groans from the audience) ... The Ocean is my 2nd favorite band on the planet (after PISTOL OPERA) ... Buy it now, buddy!
