I grew up with her music on radio WBLS Dj Harry Harrison I'd wait for it to come on. I love her voice the way she sings and the way it's almost as if she's singing just to me. This is what makes a great singer

One of my ALL TIME FAVORITES: listened to it while driving across the country and can listen to it 5-hundred times a day --- LOVE IT!!!!! My husband stepped on my CD, and broke it --- purchased the wrong album as a replacement and it just wasn't the same: Carly is at her best on the Vineyard and this album is wonderful!!!

I disagree with the reviewer's last comment about settling. Every time I hear a Carly Simon song, I feel as if the song has been reinvented all over again by her. Each song of hers brings back a distinct memory or story from my life and events! If only -- just if only -- some of these artists today could have half of what she brings to a song, they would be indeed be great. Who else do I know can sing Itsy Bitsy Spider and put so much feeling into it? And bringing the children out to sing accompaniament was a stroke of genius on her part! Blessings to Carly for spreading the joy that music can truly and was meant to be.
