Sons of Bill are about my favorite band ever! Their music is so real - straight from the mountains of Virginia - and their lyrics are powerful - especially Metaphysical Gingham Gown. James Wilson has the most amazing voice in my opinion, and he is such a sweetheart (and ladies, he's cute as can be)! All of the boys are! If you ever have a chance to see them live, you will certainly have one of the times of your life - don't miss out!

This is definitely my favorite CD of all time! I've had it for over six months now and it's still the only CD I will listen to... btw, these guys are even more awesome live! You should definitely check out one of their shows, you'll be hooked!

I took my buddy from Texas to see these guys open for Shooter Jennings. He had his UT hat on and when they started this song, he was stoked. Then he heard the chorus....well, needless to say, he's not a fan anymore! Great album, fellas. Keep the Blue Ridge rockin'!

I discovered these guys when I saw them open for Reckless Kelly recently and I was instantly hooked. Check out tracks 2, 6, 8 and 11 for starters, but if you like country even a little bit, you won't regret buying the whole album. We went for Reckless, but guess which album we listened to the whole five hour drive home? SOB rock!

The SOB are a great country-rock band out of Virginia. Their songs have that classic whiskey-soaked Southern sound, while their superb lyrics add depth and dimension. I recommend you see them live if you get the chance. I'll guarantee a good time.

These guys came and played around some military instillations in Japan and Korea, and I gotta say they rock. They're some of the best new country music I've heard in years. I love every song on this album, but if you want to just try 'em out I'd suggest "Far Cry" "Roll on Jordan" and "My Hometown."
