Just Between You and Me has been a staple in my life since I first heard this song on cassette from my best friend in the late 80's and early 90's. More than the words, the music touches on and drives many feelings in your life. I'm guilty of programming repeat many a time on this song. Thank you Lou for brining this music and this song into my life!

This is definitely the stronger of Lou's late 80s solo discs and worlds better than the new Foreigner disc. While Just Between You & Me was the real radio hit from this disc, there are a few tracks that, to me, are the strongest Gramm vocals ever, including classic Foreigner. Check out Broken Dreams, I'll Know When It's Over, and Angel With a Dirty Face. Then when you're done with that, go check out Shadow King for even more Lou Gramm vocalizations.

I have been hearing the song "Just Between You and Me" at work on our in-store music system and I haven't been able to get the song out of my mind. I had to do some searching on the internet to find the singer and I was surprised that I didn't recognize the voice. I have always loved Foreigner and I really enjoyed this ablum. I also bought his other two albums but I was not impressed with the Mystic one and did not buy it. I am glad to heard that Lou is still out there singing and making new music.
  • Perfect collection of hard rock songs

This somehow overlooked gem needs more attention. The songs resemble "inside information" but they are much more richer in melodic twists and turns and the production is impeccable. We have seen frontmen having their "solo moments" but this one is special.

If you like vocals and well produced rock and roll then don't hesitate. Face it, Lou Gramm was and still is one of the best vocalists to grace us with vocal chords. This album was always one of my faves'. Not a weak track here. Warmest Rising Sun and Tin Soldier are two of my favorites.

This was Lou Gramm's best Solo Album and still is. He is an awesome singer and can really sing with his heart and soul.

Though generally underrated, Long Hard Look is easily the best non-Foreigner release of Lou's career. Though Ready Or Not is praised as his best solo work, Long Hard Look is a better all around album. Though no single track is as good as his solo masterpiece Midnight Blue (critically regarded as one of the best pop songs of the '80's), the track Just Between You And Me comes darn close. Broken Dreams, Warmest Rising Sun and True Blue Love are also outstanding tracks. Hangin' On My Hip is instantly forgettable, bordering on painful. It'd be much more at home on the tired, cliched Shadow King album (Lou's 'supergroup' with Vivian Campbell before rejoining Foreigner in the '90's). Any fan of Lou's work should not hesiate for an instant to pick this up.
